Update on the Covid-19 pandemic in the EMA region

The Covid-19 pandemic has a significant impact on German companies in the Middle East and the current and future Euro-Med trade relations. Market volatility, rising unemployment, travel bans, the simultaneous challenge of the oil price collapse, and the challenge of ill-equipped health care systems are among the many repercussions the region is facing. Policymakers, businesses, and society as a whole will have to counter these challenges with all their strength.
The EMA has compiled an overview of weblinks and articles about the current developments and strategies in the region, the implications for doing business abroad, and the country-specific measures which have been implemented by the respective governments.
