The next day, by plane, we went on to the proud and traditional university town of Tlemcen, where, among other things, the telecommunications company Sitel and Megapapiers are based. After the visit, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Tlemcen Region's National Investment and Development Agency and the University of Tlemcen presented the region's business, educational and scientific landscape and investment opportunities. Tlemcen is one of only four cities in which the Pan-African University of the African Union maintains an institute: the Institute of Water and Energy Sciences.
This was followed by a promising B2B session, a short excursion to the old Mosque of Mansourah and an exceptionally warm evening reception in the hospitable Algeria with representatives of the CCI Tlemcen, the ANDI, the University as well as some entrepreneurs of the region. Fethi Kherbouche also included an entrepreneur (Groupe Kherbouche), who had long been cooperating with German partners and who was able to give the delegation participants valuable suggestions.
