Haifa Fahoum Al Kaylani - Lebanon

Founder and Chairwoman of the Arab International Women's Forum (AIWF)


Haifa Fahoum al Kaylani is Honorary Member of the EMA since April 2012. Additionally, she is board member of the Women's Leadership Board of the Harvard University. She holds degrees in economics from the American University of Beirut and Oxford University. In 2008 she was awarded the "World of Difference" Award for her life's work of the International Alliance for Women. In 2007, she was among the "Muslim Power 100 Leaders" in the UK. In 2006, she was awardes as one of "21 Leaders for the 21st Century" of the Women's eNews of New York.

 

Najib Saab - Lebanon

Secretary General of the Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED) and publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Bia Wal-Tanmia (Environment & Development)


Najib Saab is Secretary General of Arab Forum for Environment & Development (AFED), and publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Bia Wal-Tanmia (Environment & Development) the leading pan-Arab magazine on sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish - Egypt

Reem Asaad - Saudi Arabia

 

Saudi Fransi Capital

Reem Asaad was awarded the Honorary Membership in the course of the 2nd
German-Arab Women's Network Forum (Berlin,  October, 24th 2013). Reem
is Saudi Arabian educator and lecturer based in Jeddah. She teaches bank-
ing and finance at Dar Al-Hekma women's college since 2008. Prior to her academic work, she worked as an investment analyst at the National Commercial
Bank since 2001.

In 2008, she launched a campaign calling for better employment opportunities
for women and improved consumer rights. The "Lingerie Campaign" gained
international recognition stirring many underlying issues about women in Saudi Arabia.

Mohamed Ould Bilal - Mauretania

  General Director of SOMELEC

Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal was awarded by the Honorary Membership in course of the 2nd Forum for the Maghreb (Berlin, November, 26 2013). On October 10, 2013 he was appointed by the Mauritanian government as General Director of SOMELEC - the State owned electricity company. He is former Mauritanian Minister of Equipment, Urbanism and Habitat. He was also involved in a campaign to enforce anti-slavery policies in Mauritania.

Abdelkrim Mansouri - Algeria

  Director-General of the National Agency of Investment Development (ANDI)

Following his extensive involvement in the organisation and completion of the first German-Algerian Economic Forum in Hamburg Mr. Mansouri was awarded the honourary membership of the EMA. He contributes greatly to the economic development of his country through his ongoing personal and institutional commitment to the international visibility and attractivity of Algeria.

Prof. Fr. Fr. h.c. Sefik Alp Bahadir - Germany

Initiator and director of the Center for Iraq Studies

Since May 2014 Prof. Dr. Bahadir is an honorary member of the EMA.
Besides his position as a professor at the Institute of Economics of the Friedrich-
Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg,
he is also the director of the Center for Iraq
Studies (CIS) in Erlangen.

Prof. Dr. Horst H. Siedentopf - Germany

For his great commitment as a former president and board member of EMA, Professor Siedentopf was elected as an honorary board member of EMA in the 2014 Members’ Assembly.

Michael Pfeiffer - Germany

 

Michael Pfeifer

Michael Pfeiffer obtained the EMA honorary membership in May 2015 after many years of committed engagement in the EMA’s executive board. Until 2012 Mr. Pfeiffer was Chief Executive of Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) following a remarkable carrier in several German Chambers of Commerce and Industry. He proved his dedication and expertise in foreign business relations and the Arab region not only towards the EMA but also towards the German Foreign Office and the Verband Beratender Ingenieure (VBI) which he served as a highly considered consultant.

H.E. Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh

80 offices worldwide. He is recognized as one of the most influential
leaders in the Arab World and the international scene, contributing to the
fields of education, accountancy, intellectual property, business
